SAY NO TO MIDDLE EASTERN GAS
BUY USA GAS
Detailed info see: http://www.eia.doe.gov/pub/oil_gas/petroleum/data_publications/company_level_imports/current/summary2007.html
The CHOICE is yours!
IT IS IMPORTANT WHERE TO BUY YOUR USA-GAS
Can't we take control of our own destiny and let these giant oil importers know who REALLY generates their profits, their livelihood? How about leaving American Dollars in America and reduce the import/export deficit?
Since foreign oil is hard to pinpoint it origination, it is practically hard to buy from companies that do not import from Middle Eastern countries. For example, one company may import oil from Russia but in reality, Russia has brought a supply of oil from Saudi Arabia. However, it is always a wise decision to buy USA oil whenever possible. Since Exxon is one of the largest importers of foreign oil, it is imperative that consumers do not purchase gas from their suppliers. We should buy USA oil first and then subsides with foreign oil not vice versa.
CITGO oil is imported from Venezuela by Dictator Hugo Chavez who hates America and openly avows our economic destruction!

ANOTHER EMAIL HAS ALSO SURFACED ABOUT CITIGO stating the following:
"Citgo is now in the process of changing its name to PETRO EXPRESS due to the loss of gasoline sales in the USA and due to the recent publicity of ownership by Chavez of Venezuela.
This is very important because Chavez is starting to feel the loss of revenue from his holdings. He owns Citgo. This is a very important move which everyone should be aware of.
Announced just recently, Citgo, Being aware that sales are down due to U.S. customers not wanting to buy from Citgo-Chavez, has started to change the name of some of their stores to Petro Express.
Do not buy from Petro Express. Petro Express is also 100% owned by Chavez. "
Our research has disclosed the following information:
Petro Express is a privately owned chain of convenience stores. It is owned by the Pantry, Inc. which is headquartered in Sanford, NC. Petro Express is NOT owned by the Venezuela governement.
Although Petro Express did once sell Citgo gasoline, The Pantry announced in May 2007 that it had executed a new gasoline branding and supply agreement with Chevron covering the 66 Petro Express convenience stores the Pantry acquired in North and South Carolina. Under this agreement, Petro Express will be converting to Chevron/Texaco brand in the months ahead.
As you can see from the chart above, Chevron/Texaco is a major import of oil from the Middle East. It is still a wise decision to refrain from buying gasonline from Petro Express whenever possible. If you make the decision to purchase oil from Petro Express, please do your homework and call you local station to be sure their gasoline is not purchased from Citgo.
