TENNESSEE EARLY VOTING DAYS
The United States Senate is the upper house of the bicameral US Congress, the lower house is the House of Representative.

In the House, each state is represented by the population of the people. The total number of Representatives is 435 members. Each representative serves two year terms and is elected on the even years.

In the Senate, each state is represented by two members. Membership is therefore based on the equal representation of each state, regardless of population, for a total membership of 100. Senators serve six-year term that are staggered so elections are held for a third of the seats every second year.
